FSR Media Kit

Engage

Fantasy Ski Racer has been hosting competitions for the last five years. We have built a dedicated base of ski racing enthusiasts, but like other fantasy sports leagues our goal is to make the occasional ski racing fan a lifelong fan. Research and trends from other fantasy sports site have shown that competitions with shorter timelines is the best way encourage participation. This is where we want you to be part of the community we are creating. FSRs new format is what we call a Challenge. Challenges are a grouping of World Cup races that players try and accumulate World Cup points. The player with the most points during the challenge wins. Most challenges will consist of the 3-8 World Cup races that occur over a weekend. Examples would be the Kitzbuel Challenge, Beaver Creek Challenge, LakeLouise/Aspen Challenge. But we also will have challenges by discipline or any combination of World Cup races.

Build

When you host a challenge we help you build your fan base. FSR will promote your Challenge through its own media channels along with its media partners. We are giving away $20k in grant money to USSA members. All USSA racers, parents, and coaches will receive bi monthly emails on the status of the grant money giveaway and upcoming challenges they can participate in. Social media and ad campaigns through Warren Millers Chasing Shadows tour and World Cup athletes will expose FSR challenges to over 3 million people. Former US ski team member and US ski team coach Doug Lewis and Greg Needle will be writing weekly blog posts and have their predictions highlighted on Universal Sports.

Convert

Challenges can be incentive based and/or promotional. Bench marks can be set within a Challenge so that when a player accomplishes the goal an email with the coupon, QR redemption code, promotional material, etc is sent to each winner. We also have targets ads which gives vendors the ability to advertise globally, by nation, and language. The Challenge page within our app allows you to feature product and is completely customizable.
